Right spot for this???

Thinking about an arrow change next season. Not for any reason other than to try another.... I shoot a Mathews DXT, 27" draw at 70#. Currently shooting GT Hunters.

I should also mention that I prefer lighter and faster as opposed to heavier. Why? Don't know....

GO!

Easton Flatlines have been great to me over the years. I shoot the 340s which are 8.2 GPI. I'm getting 285 fps out of my Switchback XT with a 28" arrow and 100 grain head. Just like all Easton arrows, they are tough as nails. Really can't go wrong with them IMO.

Flatlines are the toughest "lightweight" arrows on the market IMO.

I had no complaints with my flatlines...absolutely zero... But they just don't quiet my bow down like the 10.0 gpi Easton ST Excels that I'm currently shooting. That deer I shot the other night had no idea what happened until my arrow was already sticking in the ground.

Took some pics of my Martin custom bushmaster. I need to give the crossbow a rest and start shooting this thing again. Reading boarheads thread about his widow has really givin me the itch to get back into traditional shooting. It's 50# draw at 28 inches. Bought it back in 1994. Nothing fancy. Bear grizzly #50 at 28'. Shooting some gold tip trads xt's. Big ass arrow tipped with an assortment if 125 grain heads.

Its been a blast shooting and hunting with the recurve. Havent killed one yet but am confident. I can only remember killing one deer past 20 yards with the compound. Never was big on shooting past 25. Happy i made the switch. Not too mention no more Target Panick issues. Simplicity is bliss

Hoping to add a more traditional quiver and some heavier broad heads for next year

Awesome! I have a old grizzly that my neighbor gave me that was made in grayling Michigan. I have a string for it but don't shoot it because it's pretty old.

55/60# Justin Steinmetz longbow. Bamboo backed Epe with Osage riser and tips. This is the only bow I've hunted with this year. Glad gun season is coming up. :)
