I'm no age expert but from velvet scouting and comparing his body with the other deer he looked to be 4 this year. I let him walk in November. Maybe that was a bad choice. I don't know

I missed this buck in November because I'm a horrible shot nowadays.
Sad to find him like this. Looked like a bullet hole in the top of the ribs.

I do not think I will have another 60 shed year like last year. But I will try like hell when I can. I'm at 3 now. Today was my first day of looking and it just seems too early. 6 bucks have dropped behind the house so far.

Yes. That's 21 sheds on one farm! And the famer asked me why I never checked across the road. He said there where 19 deer in that field the night before. Pulled my truck over there and they where shed bucks eating in the field.

Lol, that's unreal!! The most I've ever found in one area or farm down here in the SW is 4 maybe 5! Lol

Clearly this shows how the deer numbers differ across the state or in each region! Keep on keeping T!!! Shoot for 80 this year!
