Good stuff Phil! How's he like it?
He'll get the hang of it once it's set up for him. That's awesome that he's taking a liking to it!He was getting frustrated so we put it down. Draw weight is right at his limit. I think he will draw it nicely in a short time so I am not changing it. Peep sight is WAAAAY off for him. It is making it difficult for him to find a consistent anchor. He loves the idea he is shooting a compound though!
He will get the hang of it, it still taking my boy some time, he says he don't feel comfortable shooting at a deer with it yet, so we just revert back to the crossbow. Which I think is awesome if he's not comfortable, for making that decision.
Right on. That is great he recognizes this. My son (Garrett) keeps asking "how many pounds is this?" He knows he needs to be at 40lbs. I have no clue where it is but it isn't 40. Guaranteed.
Two excellent points Jay. There is not a kisser button. It really does need one. It would be good for both of us if we knew what the weight was.Is there a kisser button on it Phil? I'd put it on a scale just to see how close he is to the 40lb mark so you could see the progress he's making....
