We start our new adventure today. Last night we picked up our exchange student from the airport. So far everything is going well. Bene (Benny) is bad in his bed too now getting everything put away. He is a very well mannered young man. Once we got home last night he was excited to present us with some gifts. A couple books on German culture. A coffee mug for Theresa, a beer stein for me, lots of chocolate, and then he presented me with a hand made knife. This knife was made by a guy in his home town. Looks to be well made. Antler handle. I am not a knife expert by any means but was touched by the gift.

Not a knife guy either but that is real nice! The thought alone makes it special. Glad he was "back" in his bed the first night and not "bad." That would have been an awkward start. lmao
