I took my son last evening and we had 5 bucks come out at 7:40 into the alfalfa field next to the corn. They could have come straight down the corn to us or angle away to the other corner. Yep, they angled away about 70 yards. He experienced his first hunting adrenaline rush.:smiley_coolpeace:

Goodluck everyone. Seems like a really nice early season day to be out down in Athens. Forgot to put sd cards back in cameras when I left Picktown so I'll be blind as to the deer activity on this cold front.

Mason is back in his blind even though I tromped all over the place this morning. There were deer all over his bait pile as soon as we left last night so who knows. I'm set up on an oak flat where we have seen a couple of dandies while glassing. Mic out today!
