Nothing since strapping back in. Got windy as all get out, steady 10-15 with gust near 20. And I just saw my first snow flake of the season

Hunting a good stand with a good wind for rut activity. I think the last standing corn close is now down in the last 2 days. Would like more does to attract the bucks but I can't change that. Would like better trail cam pics but I can't change that either. The last 2.5 days I have seen many deer running stupid in open fields and in the woods. Now it is more on luck and hunting known pinch points. Some stands, winds, a d properties tilt the odds more in my favor. Mainly it is butt in tree stand time and praying a hot doe is in the area. So far I haven't had the right ingredients.

I went back out for the last few hrs w/ my G. Blind set up & had two does come by at last light. I left it there & will try again in the am.

Slowest day in stand all year. Didn't see anything until dark

Bearded Chad and I had 2 bucks and 3 does in range this evening. Chad opted to pass on the smaller bucks. Right at last light it looked to be 4-5 deer of unknown sex out in the cut corn, they came running down the gas line.

One of the bucks came through grunting and passed right under us.
