You know, my kids will complain about refs every once in a while. I always shut that conversation down with a question...
"Do you know who complains about refs?"
"Losers."
They know the answer and they know that in sports it's up to them and their team to play so well that refs aren't even part of the equation. If they do their job, play hard, execute on opportunities then the game will be decided on the scoreboard, not on a ref's call.
