I'm switching over to all dogless traps for yotes and fox. I really like them
Highly recommended these. Springs and jaws are bolted on. You can get inside and outside lamination, or one or the other. You can also get them coated or uncoated, mine are obviously coated. $22 a piece regardless of the options you choose.

I'm going with the Monty's 2 offset. $140 a dozen. A buddy gave me a couple to try and I really like them. The only thing I have to do is change to a heavier chain and add a couple swivels. 90% of the ground I trap is heavy sand so I like a little longer chain with my cable stakes

Those do look like some nice traps let me know how you like them

Anyone ever try a step-down dirt hole set? Curious to know what you guys think of them.

Can't tell much from the pic but there is a step down. Didn't see any action though, I pulled it on Sunday. Going to reset on Friday and I'll make another step down. Trap seemed to bed a lot easier in the step down set versus a regular dirt hole or flat set.

Well that sucks. I know you'll get him though..
Hope so, put in a new set today about 75 yards from where he was in that pic. On Friday I'll put another set in closer to that spot of the photo. I posted a pic of today's set in the "favorite foot hold sets" thread.

What did you do about deer stops on your snares? I swore those Micros had them installed and they don't. Seen a few easy mods on YouTube. Wondered if that would work or if I should order some actual deer stops.
