Displays you bunch of perverts!

Now that I'm starting to get some bone going, it's probably about time I do something with them. I don't have enough for a full on man cave or anything, but I've got a few that I'd like to display along with my grizzly, a bear skull, a few coyote pelts, and a shed.

This all started because I seen a shed on a pedestal, I thought that was damn cool and fitting for the shed I have.

Future plans will be a full on man cave in the basement as most of my things are at my folks house and I feel like they belong there until the end.




I've also got a salmon in the freezer I should probably get to a taxi. Anyone know anyone that does salmon or would do one?

I would also entertain the idea of someone finishing that deer mount for me. I have the original hide and it has been tanned and frozen in a bag for the two years. Kinda scares me to think about handing it to someone else again…but I really don't dig the skull plate look. So I have the hide already tanned, skull plate and conformation number…none of the original measurements:smiley_baby:

I know this thread didn't get much action, maybe I didn't give enough detail. These are the kind of ideas I'm looking for. Michaels buddy is making these for a very fair price...thinking a little smaller.

These are 26.5" wide...

I like the double wood look.

Thats kinda how my place is now…couple of moose antlers by the front door, bear skull above the TV, and the side room has the bear rug/mount with a 10 point. Gun cabinet in the other corner. Nothing else on display. I'd like to bring it all together somehow and have it look nice.

Used to have some arrowhead boards and state boards like those but they take up too much space if ya start hanging lots of mounts.
I did put one on some old barn wood Chad gave me.
Will have to see if i can dig up a picture.

Yup, you got it Brian. I actually got this one for the front porch. I'd like to get some smaller for that exact reason, I plan to have a bunch of these some day. The space I plan on using for now is pretty small. 12'x12' room with two big windows. Eventually, it'll all end up in my basement and space shouldn't be a problem (24'x53'). Be plenty of room for my buffalo, fish, coyotes and whatever else I might end up with over the years to come.

I covered one osb wall in my pole building with barnwood. The one rack hanging in the middle is from this year and will be shoulder mount. That one is my biggest , 142" gross 8 point, and will go on fireplace in the house. I tanned all the hides myself except for the one bigger beaver. Have tom turkey to do from last year and will look like the Jake. Also have a specklebelly goose at taxidermist now also. Have a hooped beaver i did in the house also.

Thanks. I put the sneak on him and a doe laying out in the corn stubble Thursday of gun season. Crawled up to grass on edge of crick bank and waited 45 minutes for them to get up. Shot him at 150 yards after he bred the doe a few times. Best hunt I've ever been on.

I ain't got nothing that is unique or innovative for displaying my crap....
I have a few pelts and would like to figure out something for them.
All my sheds are mainly just thrown in baskets along the wall. Easy to play with that way though.
If you do a man-cave and the area is not already dry-walled, I suggest using plywood or something solid so you don't have to worry about stud locations.

Came home yesterday to find the girls designed this.... Some sort of parking garage for their cars or something??? I'm sure I'll be the lucky one who gets to clean it up.
