Mike Rex. He and his boys have killed some good bucks over the years and a slew of turkeys. He's pretty well known. Has a seat at the OBBB table. Not sure his exact role there. He is friends with Mike Tonkavich as well. Some guys aren't fans because of this. Personally, I don't care. Mike has been alright the couple times I have talked to him at the Deer and Turkey Expo. He doesn't hunt my ground. I don't hunt his. I may not agree with all his beliefs. He may not agree with all of mine. Just life OO2. No big story I am aware of unless Giles and him got into and Giles hasn't told us all about it. lol
Nope, never met him face to face. Like I said, no story, just don't like the guy. Maybe that would change if I shared a campfire with him.
Just took the Jeep around my woods. Have some newly fallen trees blocking the trails. We crossed them. That was awesome! Off to pull tree stands. I need some spring pep in my step. I'm getting it today.
Braydon and I have the boat loaded up. It's a 12' aluminum that only weighs in at 60#. We are going down the river and do some nib-shitting for holes to fish in this summer, beaver spots, sheds and whatever mischief PaPaw can get him into!
