Just had some baseball sized hail come through here in Indiana where I work. I hope that shit is done by the time it makes its way to my house. Theres gonna be a lot of damage out in our parking lot.

We got rocked pretty good between 515-530. Some schools closed due to no power and trees/limbs down.

Last summer Laughlin AFB got rocked by a hellacious hail storm, damaged half the training fleet, lots of houses damaged and vehicles were trashed.... Buddy had a mid 2000's Z71 and it was totaled.... His wife's car was fixable.....

They had to ship other aircraft in to help out with their pilot training program and he was delayed six months in his training because of it....

Hope your insurance takes care of it Dustin.....

It was a wild night in our swamp too. Funny what you all said about your dogs. Ours did the same sort of thing. They were freaked out!

My insurance guy is a buddy from grade school, the guy he sends me to doesn't usually make me pay the deductible, but he is way out of my way. As long as it gets fixed, im cool with it.

This little country community is pretty awesome. I found 3 houses with damage to buildings. All 3 houses you couldn't find a place to park... People with saws, trailers, backhoes and plenty of people helping sort through what was left.

I think it was Jim asking not long ago about country vs city living. It doesn't get much better then this bub...this is a community with community effort. I'm damn proud to be a part of it, even if I wasn't any help this time.

Pretty amazing after living in a city for 10 years to see this stuff. It holds a little deeper now. I used to love going around and helping pick up sticks and whatever else when I was a kid. Kinda forgot all about it until my little drive around today.
