Now Harold Camping is saying the end of the world is this Saturday around 6:00PM...

I started to read it CJD, then realized "Hey, I am falling for this stupid trap." While I do believe we as humans have fallen, and Christians have become pretty lax as a whole, I also believe as a Christian that we will not know the time and day. I know it is going to happen. I just don't know when, let alone 6pm on Saturday. If it so happens to be 6PM Saturday is the day, then I will be in a better place. Bible says so. It also says (in not quite these words but essentially the same) "You aren't going to change it. Go about your business. Live your lives."

While I believe you were poking fun at the gentleman stirring the pot, I just thought I would throw in my 2cents. If it happens, it happens. If not, then I will be watching my daughter's dance recital about that time. lol

I am with you. I know we can't choose when, but i would like to see my kids grow up and start their own families. Kind of be nice to be an old man someday instead of just feeling like one on some mornings. lol

I also agree guys. Only GOD knows when, it's up TOO us to be ready! I hope it's not in our lifetime but I do know as everyday passes things keep getting worse and the rapture is one day closer.

Phil, no offense, but if the world is coming to an end at 6PM on Saturday, can we quit mowing around 4 or so? I would really like to spend my last two hours drinking beer or in the bedroom.... lmao

I hope the good Lord doesn't consider this blasphemous, but I've got an idea....concerning the rapture, instead of making all the good people make the move, why not just vaporize all the other turds? Would make it a lot easier to get a good tee time....:smiley_coolpeace:

Or go in the kitchen and turn on the sink, strip down and leave your clothes in a pile.. Then hide.. When she wonders why the water is running and you don't answer all she'll find is a pile of clothes...
