Screw it. I'm cleaning my leaves up. Doing work. Checked 3 cards on 2 properties. One borderline shooter at 3am. Lots of seeking. Nothing over 100". Frustrating, but that is hunting.

Heading out again right now, gonna take my climber to the opposite side of the property I hunted this morning. The wind switched a little bit now it's bad for the stand I was in this morning

Unreal spot you have Brock. If any of those bucks want to migrate east, I'll welcome them cordially in Waterford!

I've been settled in to a new stand for over an hour. Waited all year to sit this spot. Little windy up here, but I love the view.

That is a hell of a deer! What a stud.

What is it with that property that produces the big boys like that? Great genetics. It's unreal. World class animals

These pictures are killing me as I sit in the office! My standards are much lower as I just want to fill the empty freezer with some venison. I have never seen deer like some of the photos you guys are sharing. Great stuff!

Well fuck. For the 3rd year in a row, the #1 buck on the hit list goes back to NC and I get the text while laboring through another long day. Bout fed up with that shit.

Nice saddle with 4 trails meet up off of some ridges. I'm 2 for 2 in this spot. Fingers crossed.

All set up. Im down in Dillon state park this weekend. Im in a little strip of woods between a nasty thicket and a corn field. There is a path about 20 yds in front of me with deer tracks all over it...

I think there are big deer everywhere, we just tend to hunt where we can't see very far. I've never hunted a property (long list of counties here) that I didn't find big deer. If you saw this particular farm, you'd never believe there were deer on it.

Congrats Mercer ! Wow Brock, just wow ! I had received a call when I woke up this am from the neighboring landowner's son I just met last week. he has some guys in from W.Va for a few days. One of the guys shot a buck yesterday evening & it came over on my hunting property & he wanted to have permission to send them in. I said yes & that I'd probably meet up with them. I did & there wasn't much blood to go by. They did end up bumping the buck in some thick stuff but it hobbled on to the next property. I didn't see it. As we're there standing later & talking, one of the guys starts showing me some of their trail cam pics & some of the bucks were what I've been watching, including Crossover, so that was kinda weird. They were real nice, we traded phone numbers. They camp over on that property every year & they invited me for some black bear & trout fishing back in W.Va. Oh yeah, It was getting too warm, I was overdressed & only stayed until I went back home @ 230 & there were some deer in the yard... again.

Hard to recall a time I've been more physically and mentally drained. All day sit in the cold and wind with the flu was a dumbass move. Staying in tomorrow and doing something that brings me joy: hanging with my girls. Here's to chugging a bottle of Nyquol and passing out!
