Thanks guys! About to get back on the lathe in a few, electing to make calls instead of sit in a tree on the last day of deer season lol.
Don't feel like being up til 3am. This'll be the first year in 6 years that I haven't shot a doe.
In the process of turning a 3" pot for a buddy. Met him when I helped J hang his snares. This will be a 3" slate over 2.5" slate. I let him name the call since he's the first one that requested a 3" pot. He came up with "The Calcutta Cutter" named after his hometown. Let's hope it cutts

Hell yeah. Cool name
He wants a soft talker for tree yelps and such. I came up with a new design for my sound holes on this pot. Putting in a slate sound board instead of glass should quiet the call down some.
