That sucks Josh. Maybe the corn is for the deer?!? 🤔
No he says there's feathers in it. And a blind built out of cedars about 25 yards away. It sucks for him because he's spent alot of time and money on food plots and clearing the areas on that farm to keep the birds around. I know there's more birds around there so we will find out how it turns out.
I don't know if that Sasquatch will pull birds off corn piles[emoji51]

I'm certain my camp is polluted with them as always. My Dad and his retired buddies all get 1-2 each every first week, year in and year out. It's almost too easy so it doesn't hold my attention much.

My backyard flock has been enjoying my bird feeder lately which is about 5 feet off my sunroom.

Another added attraction is the 20 ton sand pile in my backyard that the pool used to sit on.

Its not a bait pile but the turkeys seem to love the warm sun, warm sand, and dusting in it.

If I were a betting man....I'd say a 10-20 ton sand pile 25 yards from a ground blind would bring in the birds almost as easy as a corn pile.

Take a few tons of cow manure out to the south 40 and drop it in a pile and they’ll be all over it....
Pretty shitty if you ask me.... 🤪

I'm sure gonna give it a try. I figured by the time I get there and the corn should be gone if the warden does his job. they should be working back on the clover plots
Hopefully they're faster than Ohio. The two counties I turkey hunt (Stark and Tuscarawas) don't even have a warden.

I just got off the phone with my buddy he said the warden was there already today took photos and is gonna be in there the next few days to catch them. She did tell him that there was 5 longbeards and quite a few Jake's at the corn when she walked in. I've heard stories about people getting busted baiting turkeys down there but and it sounds like they throw hammer them with fines and loss if wepons even quads and have been taken I guess.
