I batter mine in pancake mix and beer then deep fry. That's actually the only way I've ever done it.

Aluminum foil, wrap it with butter lemon and garlic and whatever spices you like. Cook on the grill...

We fished a buddy's place last night. He has three ponds, one of which I'd never fished. I think we will try it again sometime. I need to take the canoe or something as it's encircled with algae and weeds which cost me two giants, and I mean GIANTS. We probably caught 30 or so, mostly on top water baits.

DId a little camp cooking for Mason and myself this evening. Our friends will be up tomorrow to join us for a couple days. Struck out on smallmouth around Kelleys The walleye were much more hospitable!

Brock they’re probably post spawn pattern by now... This side of the lake around break walls and main lake humps. Riprap is key over here....

What side of Kelley's did you fish? East side out front of airport is usually good. Might have been tough with a NE wind yesterday tho.

Had a decent day the last time I got out which was last Friday for a few hours. Had a few bites on a ned rig but the creature bait called a beaver was the go too as it was the ticket.... All around docks and in 3-5’ of water...

Didn't have a scale big enough at our boats marina. Tip to tip was 10-6. Girth was 56 inches. Est weights ranged from 325-475.
