Im going to arrive early on that Friday and have a chat with the area coordinator and see if I can get myself set up in a good spot. 500 acres, and only 10 hunters, so we will see how things pan out.

Yes their intentions are good, above all else this is a meat hunt. Brown its down type of thing.

Nice! Didn't know if you got any input or if you go where they send you. I get it. Setting blinds up 100yds apart is necessary I'm some of these situations. Need to be able to get guys in/out without much effort. For guys more mobile like yourself (other than your short legs lol) I would hope they could find you a quiet little pinch point. I am certain I have only seen a tiny fraction of the locations they have set up.

You would be surprised how more than adequate 500 acres can be for 10 guys given the right setup. Sounds like a great time, good luck!

Itching to get this thing started. Cant wait for Friday. Leaving work around 11:00, hoping to be pulling in around 12:30-1:00. Qualify with the bow, run to the hotel and check in then head back to the Union Hall to relax for a bit. Ill be washing and smoking my gear in the next day or so. TICK TOCK
