LIVE from the stand 2018-19

[Wildlife]

A total of 9 deer seen for the day and most of them were antlerless deer.

Most all of them were seen very earlier in the morning.

I hunted until 10 this morning and then got back out @4:00 until dark.

During my evening hunt, I had a nice Pheasant encounter. He crossed right in front (bottom photo) of me, approximately 25 yards away headed straight for the CRP field.

Only three youth shots, maybe four tops that I heard today.

Two in morning and two in the evening.

I also seen three rabbit hunters hunting with their dogs around 9:00 am. I heard four shots from them within my last hour hunting this morning.

No luck here today. Both boys got to see deer while out. A awesome buck was at my spot last night, I was at wrestling practice with the boys. Next time. Good luck y’all!

Pulled a dawn to dusk sit in what I thought was my best spot opening day in Oregon today. Saw no deer, can’t say I’m feeling too optimistic

Very quiet this morning with virtually no wind, plus a little bit of a fog 'TOO'.

A decent start so far, three deer.
