Put away the grunt call & all my other deer stuff yesterday.

Today, I pulled out my e-caller, hand callers, the Wicked Lights & of course,,,

Gonna try to do a few sets this evening as long as the rain holds off for me.

Congratulations to all the successful 'TOO' Members that harvested deer this season!

Break in the rain so I'm giving it another shot this evening here and then another location about a mile away.

Last night I did two sets before the rains came.

Seen;
  • A Fox
  • A Opossum
  • & a crap load of Cottontails
in a matter of two hours.

Nice out with a 57* temperature & virtually no West wind in my face.

Denny, DO NOT shoot the freaking deer! Lol have fun out there man

Lmao!

Thanks for the friendly reminder...

Anyhow,,, I had to call it quits due to the darn fog after the first set.

The 'Wicked Lights' didn't fair 'TOO" well in this thick fog we're currently having, although I did hear at least one coyote fairly close, seen a few more deer, a raccoon and plenty more those silly Cottontails before I decided to pack it up and head home.

I will say, I haven't seen nearly as many coyotes this deer season for whatever reason and a gut pile would never last a night around here, but for some reason, this season they did, which I thought was pretty weird.

Perhaps we're starting to put a dent in the numbers of them around here.

I know a few folks around here not only hunt them, but trap as well and usually get themselves a bunch.
