That’ll happen when you take the man out of racing and make it high school drama. It was fun to watch when you got to see someone pissed at someone else. Nowadays they can’t/won’t show that stuff without fining these guys. So it turns into high school drama. I want to see someone get punched in the helmet! These are men racing for money and trophies...well, it used to be like that. Bracket racing is for those that run one on one in a straight line.

Oh absolutely agree! Heck race season just started. A lot can happen and nothing’s a guarantee. Especially on a race track with a bunch of talented race car drivers! Lol

Nascar got into politics and it went down hill from there. Tried to turn it into a white collar sport. Remember back a few years when they didn't want the fans to fly the Confederate flag? Back when we were going in the 90's the only way to get a ticket was if a season pass holder sold there's. What redneck wants to watch some fag drive a fucking Toyota around all day?

My first race was the Michigan one circa 2005 with my son and a friend from work with his boy and his dad.... When we pulled into the parking lot there were well over a couple hundred motor homes with big buck SUV’s attached too them, that’s when we realized there’s some money folks following these fuggers.... Where would nascar of headed if it weren’t for them widening the sport? Who knows....

Oh I know. There's always been big money in the sport but they started looking for a new fan base and tried to forget about the moonshine bootleggers that started the whole thing. The stands that we watched the Michigan race in are now down here at Toledo speedway after MIS downsized.

They went PC and tried too cleanup their image. They’ll always be a segment on the population that’ll never let em forget that part....
Bristol and Michigan we got tickets from season ticket holders.... They’d keep renewing them knowing damn well they’d never step foot at the track. Just a money maker for them is all.... Same with the folks who schedule their vacations during the races and then rent their house out for a weekend for the price of their mortgages...
