Going to try to make it at least down for a day. Got a roof to put on that weekend for a buddy thats been planned for awhile. Not want I to do by any means, but cant back out of it, and cant pass the money ill make on it either. Definatly would much rather be down there camping and having some beers with you guys. The way you guys are offering to help out people to get down there, shows what a dam good bunch of guys that are on this site. know for sure ill have it planned for next year. Hope to get down for a little this year. ill know more once i get started on job and how much of a nightmare itll be.

I’m coming out in two weeks to work on my property and to turkey hunt. I’m going to look for morels also. If I find some, and I put them in a ziplock bag then in a cooler with ice, will they be ok for a few days until I get them home, or are they fragile? I don’t want to get home and have a bag of rotten morels.

Theyll b fine... ive put in fridge for days and been fine.

Maybe dont seal bag up all the way... as long as they stay cold and not dry out theyll stay fine for days.
