Dave.... I agree 110 percent and he's a 1/2 hr. away where the other is an hour.. I'm guess 600 lbs.. What do you think..

I don’t k ow how big the trees and stuff are for reference. I know he’s a fat ass and about as big as he’s gonna be. Doesn’t look like he goes far in his old age either. I’d like to see you standing behind him to get the real picture!

Dave, Gonna give it my best effort to get you that pic.... Just got back from putiing the camera back out and surveying the area better to figure out where hes coming form... Acorns falling like crazy there and I saw about a 100+ lber on my way in... He didn't even know I existed...
Oh one other thing..... You see his ears?????

That acorn bear is a brute. That's my pick for you. Of course I'm not the one dragging him out either lol.

The brute I doing the old fashioned way.. No Bait.. Just several oaks dropping acorns near a thick Mount Laurel choked hollow where I'm sure he's bedding... Just hope he shows up next week...

Well.... Almost show time... Went and pulled cards at both sites yesterday... Spot I was baiting was hit hard as usual with numerous bears on cam both day and night... Cam that I have out where I got pic of the giant had no pics at all... NADA.. But that can be expected as there's no bait there.. It's just set up an a well used trail leading into an area that is a tangle of mountain laurel. I did find a huge fresh pile of bear shit that would fill half a 5 gal bucket... So I have a good feeling he's not far away... I'm going to just concentrate on him this year as I'm going for broke, it's either him or nothing... I don't want to just kill a bear, I want something around 600 lbs... Offered up the original spot to several Toozers but no takers... So I know a guy that wants to take his 14 year old son out on Monday for bear as he's off from school... Going to let him hunt that spot... If they sit there all day and don't talk or move around they should get a shot at one.... So stayed tuned...
I'll be watching this thread Monday looking for that hero shot.
