my friend called me this morning to help track one. Got extremely lucky. He's colorblind. Started zero blood zero nothing except leaves rustled which turned into a directional grid search. Found 15 vertical drops of blood 300yrds away. That turned into another directional search to main creek crossings into a standing corn field. That turned into a hands and knees track job mainly follow light fresh tracks with finger cut blood on stalks here and there in the field. Around 500yrds from the stand he was piled up. Only good blood was 20 yrds from where he laid. If he wouldnt have went to corn he'd been lost I think. It was quartered hard hi gut/hip shot hit arrow stuck n him. One of my best luckiest track jobs I've had.

My buddy the spike showed up, hes daring me to shoot him. (Come muzzle loader season, I just might). And a doe bedded right on the trail I use to get out of the woods. Other than that, quiet night.

At about 5:20 I had a doe & three yearlings trailing, bust me. Literally, after 15 minutes of snorting, without moving away, the young deer slowly walked away. Mom was mad they were'nt paying attention to her warnings. I snuck out a little later, hopefully, unseen

My son unfortunately missed a good one this evening. I seen movement in woods behind our house so I grabbed the bino's and seen deer, cool!! I scan to the right and see my son standing in the stand but facing opposite direction, I thought huh what's he doing, then I see him draw, then the lighted nock zips! I thought wow badass!!!!! He comes in 30 mins later about sick ☹️

This was 2 days ago but says it's him, his biggest to get a shot at by a long ways
