That motha....
Just saying, in case you are having troubles finding sheds this year!
No Public Land. We go only private where we have permission and I know there isn’t any coyote traps. Took him to Portage county once and he started to dig a trap out; was seconds from going off and we were done from that point on!!! I actually have the same shed (same side) from when he was a 3 year old .
Wow!!!! That shed is huge and cool Buddha!
Congrats on your find! It would be nice if you could show us his 3 year old side next to it for growth comparison?
Congrats to Mike and everyone else on their finds as well!
Just curious why you wait for the WO to get there? I know you need a tag for deadheads, but, I’ve always took a good video of the deer and scene and sawed the antlers off, washed & scrubbed and gave them to the dog. I actually wait till the end of March and go get ODNR tags from the Police department for all the dead bucks I’ve cut antlers off of. Is this wrong or illegal? Or is there a difference for public land vs. private land?Setup on a second floor deck on the backside of a pole barn tonight. Tried calling some coyotes with the land owner. No dice but from our aerial view I found some sheds. Well, one shed and one dead buck. Saw the dead buck from the ground at 250-300yds away while placing decoy and caller.
Called WO to get a salvage tag. Hopefully it doesn't get dragged away beforehand.
66# boxer for reference.
