yes they are rebar chairs, support the rebar at 3” which is the middle of the 6” pad I am pouring. Probably way too many but they are cheap.

Got the pour done yesterday, had to wait until after 4:00, they were working in staining on that end of the house. 21 80 pound bags of concrete, loaded 2 bags at a time into a mixer then put in buckets to get up to the form. Needless to say I am beat.

Got the pad done and set the fireplace today, hiring a crane was the best $588 dollars I have spent so far. Now connecting pipes and putting panels on.

Also 95% of the staining is done, just a few little things and they are done with the dry in. I am getting plumbing supplies and electrical and going to town.

Once things around here slow down, I plan on coming over too see the new homestead. Been parking my backside on a tractor the last 3 weeks doing some improvements around the place and getting the driveway back in shape from the monsoon from January....

Finished the framing in the basement for my mothers bathroom, bedroom, and closet. Love having 2 of my sons home with me working. They are doing more than most kids home schooling.

plumbing rough in starts tomorrow, I am still working on electrical rough in.

HVAC starts Monday.

Now if I can just get the dang roofer here.
