Jackalope What ever happened to the two stains they were talking about early on? There was an L and an S type strain and one was more deadly.

When they are doing these tests to come with the numbers of infected are they differentiating between the two strains or putting everything into one bucket?

Kinda seems like we need to know the numbers for both in order to really understand the risks...

Per reports the more aggressive strain burned itself out in China. However they have been able to trace the genomic origins of what we have here. The NY outbreak came from Europe. The Washington outbreak and what has spread to most of the country came from China. Not the same strain though.

Our company has notified us that we will not return to the office until May 11th, at earliest.

Anyone who has read the governor's requirements for areas where there are more than 50 ppl, knows this will be tough for businesses to adjust. Our buildings were already over capacity (not fire code), just physical space for more offices/cubicles/testing & labs.

Conspiracy theory post for the day

Intentional or not I can not believe American companies, politicians, etc continue to import products from there. I really hope this is a wake up call for the United States leader sand company owners. China plays by its own rules and is continuing to operate like other countries did during the Industrial Revolution. Trump is one of the first leaders to stand up to the countries constant injustices and economic manipulation. Really hope after this is all over we do not go back to the status quo and depend upon that communist piece of shit for essential items, but that is the one problem with capitalism, always searching for cheaper labor, but at what cost?

With all the meat packing company's shutting down, other than your wild game stock pile, are you worried about a beef, pork and chicken shortage?

Nope. Plenty of farmers around here and they're getting creative. The major packers will be back up and functioning in 60-90 days IMO, so this is only temporary.
