Went to my shad hole this morning to catch bait and threw out a couple lines while i was there. Caught 4 small bullheads and decided to cook me up a couple for lunch. Left the smallest one for a whole fryer and worked up the rest.
Rolled in my fish batter mix and fryed nice and crispy, even cut the cheeks off of the biggest one. Just something about catfish and cornmeal!!!

Made this one for my dad today. Had my help in the kitchen as always. This cake is frosted with a coconut, cream cheese, buttercream frosting before being topped with coconut. I piped these buttercream roses to liven it up a little. Really fun baking with my little girl. I just hope she remembers this like i know i will.
Good stuff, Lackster. She'll treasure these memories for sure. Very cool.
