Looking good Bankfish!!

Well we did it. 7 pints and 6 quarts of hopefully spicy, garlicky dill pickles. All were sealed good by morning. First canning I have ever done and I’m almost 50. Hopefully many more to come.

Another week has passed and the little masked bandits have left the corn alone at home. We might just get a meal outta here in another week or so.

Couple of good hauls on the pole beans and the boys enjoy picking, snapping and eating them. They are quite intrigued that these are the same things that come in the cans lol. Cucumbers are still producing strong, wife has been making and eating a lot of vinegar/cucumber salad, and we have started giving them to the neighbors.

I decided I wasn't going to let all the watemelons be fair game, would like to taste atleast one lol.

The baby bells are growing good and the full size have just began their growth. This baby bell is still confused though.

Maters should start turning in the next week hopefully.

Got our first (and probably only) watermelon cut up today. Pretty sweet tasting. Stuffed peppers out of garden. Filled with tomato, onion, venison, and more organically grown goodies. Wife turned our peaches into a dump cake. Delicious if I must say som myself!

Hit the property for some cucumber harvests and to check on the melons, maters and pumpkins. Coons and deer are enjoying the remaining sweetcorn that is still standing lol.

Melons are whooping the ones at home, and the midget mater plants all survived and are out of control. This is what happens when you don't trim, train tomatoes.

Playground trellis is working out well for the cucumbers.

Pumpkins are doing well with the little bit of rain we have had. They are heartier than I thought but I don't see timing working out good for nice sized ones by Haloween. We'll see.
