Nice little synergy in my mailbox tonight. 🤘

I went ahead and ordered a new string due to some fraying of the string material that wax wasn't helping. I was never happy with this string anyways, so I made the jump to America's Best. Once I have that swapped out, I can finalize everything. Almost to the finish line with all this tinkering!

Allen was in need of arrows and I had hoped to buy him a new dozen this year. He had been practicing with some old Victory VForce arrows I had and we got to talking about possibly customizing them and they would be his. I sent him the Onestringer page and had him look through what they had, even the custom stuff. He really liked the flag type and picked out a pattern. Next was figuring out what fletchings he was going to go with. He’s pretty happy with his choices and tonight we started getting them done.

Stripping off the old.

Spent 2.5 hours tonight going over things with a fine toothed comb. Had some issues with cam timing and couldn't find my reference material on the subject, so there was a good bit of trial an error until I got it right. ATA and brace height are back to spot on and this was the first shot through paper. I backed up to 10' and shot 5 more, ultimately making a 1/16" adjustment to my rest. A decade ago, this was an impossible task. Tonight, it's what I did after work. Super satisfying feeling to be my own bow tech!
