I looked at this at Vance Outdoors, they had a floor model. You're exactly right, sweeeet, but heavy. The reason I didn't buy it was the fabric bed. Same reason I don't like fabric seats in ladder stands, I don't see them lasting years and years. I bought the Allen meat wagon. All metal, easy to assemble, does a great job. That hawk thing just too bulky. But I bet it does a great job toting. No right or wrong answer on this one, just choices.Any recommendations on a good one.
I looked at the hawk double wheeled cart and they look pretty sweet but I believe they were nearly 50lbs, maybe worth it though
This thing rocks. Extremely versatile when paired with a Jet Sled, and folds up flat for minimal storage space. The wheels could be beefed up a bit if I had my druthers, but so far I’ve not had any failures.@jagermeister has a nice set up that can be used for much more than just deer.
I've been eyeing the kids old bicycles lol. What I read so far is it's helpful to have solid wheels with no spokes for branches to get caught in. Any problems with that?I made one from a cheap dolly that had broken wheels. I welded bike wheels on it Have 30 minutes and some left over spray paint into it.
LOL yep our woods is nothing like thatThat’s the kind I have, I think they are “strong built” brand. I haven’t had many issues w stuff getting caught in the spokes. Trust me when I say your area is not thicker than where I hunt.
Those palmettos are 5’ tall. Our crp isn’t grass like up here. It’s reforested crop land.
Nice!!! Yeah I'm thinking anything vrs dragging has gotta be great LOL.View attachment 113885Ameristep worked like a charm this evening on a buddies buck. View attachment 113886
