Lots of does. One little buck walked right under the stand. Back at it tomorrow

Me and son had a great evening. 10 total atleast one decent buck close but instead of turning right he went left and up the other side. 5 of the doe were at 20 yds for over an hour but with antlers in the area son wasn't taking any chances of messing that chance up and there was a few coming at dark that we could hear but not see and that spots where a big 8 has been visiting regularly

I was gonna Hunt my place but power poles snapped and have been out of power for two days so have had non stop Aep trucks and equipment driving up my property to my powerline so didn’t figure would be many deer moving behind my house ... maybe I’ll get to sit it tomorrow

Despite the stupid wind and having to get outta the woods at 830 to help the wife with my two youngest, i still could have killed. I had a 3yr old 10 and a 2yr old 8pt cruising after first light. Saw 5 does after that, something spooked them to me off the neighbors but nothing chasing. Everything should still hopefully be in the area when i head back out with the wife this afternoon. This was my first solo hunt this year behind our house. Been a pretty eventful week I've had since Saturday. Could have killed a buck everytime just not the right one yet. One of the better ruts i can remember.
