Actually the first one i shot is still alive have him on the other side of the farm when I shot he ducked it blew my arrow in half

Eight, and they weren't late!

Four bucks and four does, plus some chasing. All within bow range and no arrow took flight.

Details will be in my hunt journal up next.

15 min before dark I hammered the rattle bag and that dude came running up from the valley but stops 30 yds facing us but behind a tree for probably 10 mins looking around and eventually walks right and son draws but somehow his peep is turned so has to let down. Twists his string and now ready again but buck stops again behind a bunch of brush til dark and eventually walks away. Very exciting!

Another windy but good sit. Saw 2 bucks and three does. Wife went full draw on a 5pt but decided he was too small. Proud of her would have been her 1st buck. Hopefully tomorrow morning will be great.

I was thinking the same thing like it’s awful quiet this morning I hit the grunts and the antlers we will see

Pretty cool thing to see but not for deer hunting. Two coyotes were chasing another yote around my section. Did a huge loop covering a ton of ground. The intruder was hauling ass trying to get away. I wish the two resident yotes would have caught it. I've seen territory stand off and chase now but never a fight.

This guy came cruising through at 4:45 yesterday by himself, ate some acorns and corn then moved along. Back out again loving nature and the escape from the real world insanity.

2F we have a cabin in the Allegheny National Forest, near Hearts Content. Very pretty. Not many deer but pretty

I've been out, nothing. Boat load of doe activity during the night, no bucks were harassing.

I think they were up too late last night. A doe and fawn fed below me. Still very quiet other than @giles army... but they are too busy doing the nasty to be preparing for a revolt.
