Exactly. Not OSUs fault they aren't playing. Speaking of a cupcake game this would have been it.

So which is it? They shouldn't be penalized because it wasn't their decision to cancel this game. How about the other 6 games they DID decide to cancel before season and only played half a season. Boy the Big 10 really screwed y'all this year.

How much do you wanna bet that OSU is on the phone trying to pay rutgers to come get beat so they can maintain eligibility and the claim that they're one of the 4 best, most deserving, teams in the nation. 😅😅👍

Well, they wouldn't let Nebraska early on so I doubt it. They'll just meet and change the rules to whatever helps OSU, book it

Wasn't Nebraska trying to schedule a game out of conference?

From an article I read it stated that if a Big10 game was cancelled teams could reschedule with another conference team if available. No clue how true that is or if it is a "rule change".

As it stands all Big10 teams have a game scheduled. Purdue is unsure if they will be able to play against Indiana.

We will find a way in. You are gonna have to find a way to deal with it. It is what the buckeyes do! Champions don't just lay down. We fight our way into position.

That's also what cheaters and excuses makers do. :ROFLMAO: Real champions would have at least attempted to play a full season.

It wasn't OSU's decision it was the Big10.
I agree it fuggin sucks and as I said earlier I have no idea whether they belong or not but come on man why do you continue to insist it is OSU's fault. Especially the players they have nothing to do with it. They are the ones that fought to play. If the CFP committee decides to leave them out I am ok with that. That just means they feel there are 4 better teams.

so they should just say "aw, gee whiz, we haven't played enough games, lets just sit this bowl season out since we didn't play as many games as the SEC." what kind of pussy ass football team would excuse THEMSELVES from competing just because their conference fucked them (or because rival schools fans are offended)? OSU only doing what every other D1 football powerhouse, including Alabama, Clemson, etc., would do in the same situation. this whole season is a joke, but what the hell else should they be doing besides trying to play as many games as possible so as to salvage a season that was taken away from them for no good reason?

The fact of the matter is the Big 10 made a decision and decisions have consequences. Plenty of other conferences and schools attempted to play a full season and earned the right to compete for the title. OSU is not one of them, and no amount of excuses, finger-pointing, or blaming others is going to make up for the fact that they don't deserve to go. The teams and conferences that competed should take precedence over those that never even tried. It's completely insane to even think that a team who sat at home and didn't even try to play deserves a shot when plenty of other at least made an attempt. We want to sit here and talk about how it's not fair to OSU, or the students because the Big 10 made a decision. Texas A&M is 7-1. They've played a full 3 more games than OSU and have 1 loss. Should they be penalized for that loss over a team like OSU who never even tried? Talk about unfair. Oklahoma St is 7-2. a full 4 more games than OSU, Sure they have 2 losses, maybe they should have decided to never try, and maybe they would be 5-0 also. Those teams should not be penalized for their losses while a 5-0 couch surfing team takes up a CFP slot.

Here is where OSU really belongs, and it's pretty obvious to anyone who isn't a buckeyes fan.
