I'm tapping out. Joe has stated his mind. Nobody going to change it. It's my ball and I'm going home with it. To "Me" this season is a bust. Nothing normal about it. I don't even care to watch most games. No matter the outcome, it is a losing season for all the fans. Say my team wins out. Say (against Joe's wishes) they are one of the four selected. Say they win it all decisively. Still a losing season. i enjoy watching a football season. The Big10 screwed us out of it. That is a losing season for me. Put the shoe on the other foot. I'm not a Big10 fan. My team makes it to the play offs. They win out. Who did they beat? Teams with a loss or two that played without players throughout the year? Teams who didn't play a whole season? Teams that maybe should not have been there? Where is the reward in any of this? This is a loss for all fans. There simply is no good ending to it. If OSU wins out there is an * because they didn't play a whole season. If Clemson wins out there is an * because they played the left overs because they were playing a couple of 6th or 8th place teams to win. If Notre Dame wins out, @Dustinb80 mind is blown and he has a heart attack. If Bama wins, nothing changes. The athletes go back to prison and the fans go home to their cousins/sister/wives.:ROFLMAO:

I will agree that the Big 10 screw itself. They should have at least made an attempt to play like most of the other conferences did. And you leave my brother uncle out of this. :ROFLMAO:

Do I die of said heart attack?

I may get jumped for this, but remember I am an OSU fan. I don't think this Buckeyes team is that great. Defensively they are nowhere near what they were last year. The running game, for the most part, hasn't been great. Trey Sermon has been a disappointment, to me. I expected more. I think OSU is the best team in the Big Ten, but this year, that ain't saying much. I think they'll win out and get in...and I think Alabama and Clemson would both destroy this team. I think the offense is too one-dimensional, the defense has holes and isn't getting to the QB like they have in recent years, and they just don't feel as good to me.

So attack me if you wish, but as a Buckeyes fan, I don't think this year's team has any shot to win a title.

No butthurt here. I think it is honest. I also feel this is common for the Buckeyes. We tend to get better as the season goes. With less games. . ."IF" we get in it will be a disadvantage. Our DB's need work. The running game isn't where it needs to be. Trey Sermon needs work. Master Teagues is good, but not "wow" good. Only thing I disagree with is: "I don't think this Buckeyes team is that great." I think they are pretty darn good but not up to full speed yet. With less games to play they may not make it there in the next couple games.

Kind of a reversal going on in A2. Against my wishes, looks like Michigan is doing everything possible to play Saturday. I bet they took it to heart hearing you guys say they were gonna pussy out.

For all the things you can say about Harbaugh, dude is a Jackhammer. He's the ultimate competitor. Sucks as a coach. You gotta know he'll do everything in his power to have our team play.
Our top 2 QB's are hurt and scheduled for surgery. Apparently Joe Milton is still gonna give it a go. Injury wise, not even counting Covid, I know we're down our 2 starting OT's, C, and G. Down a starting WR and starting TE. On defense we are without a starting preseason all American DE, starting MLB, starting CB. and starting S. This list is just injuries. No clue who we'll be without due to covid

Maybe Ryan Day will let our punter take some snaps and make our QB do the kicking to balance things out a bit. Just to give you guys a shot. 🤣

On a serious note though, that does suck. Going to be a game of attrition. Gut checks. Buckeyes were down quite a few players against MSU. Haven't heard about going into this weekend. Won't be a satisfying victory if we win. You guys are really beat up right now.

I think OSU is elite at QB and receiver, right up there with anyone. They, to me, aren't as complete of a team this year. I don't think that's enough to hang with Alabama or Clemson, or (and this pains me to say) maybe even Notre Dame.

I think we could be 100% healthy going against your 2nd stringers and still get steamrolled

Is there talk among Michigan fans about who they would want to take over up there if Harbaugh is gone? I'm sure there is, I'm just curious who you'd want? Harbaugh was sort of "the guy" they had to get and it hasn't gone the way everyone (me included) expected. It's tough for me to envision who would be a step up.

There's an offer of a severely reduced salary extension. I think he'll take it. If he doesn't, I really like Matt Campbell from ISU. Former Toledo coach who had stated UM is one of his dream jobs. Kids absolutely play their guts out from him and he seems to have success at developing what talent he gets.

I'm not gonna pretend Michigan is ever gonna be equal to OSU again. There are just dynamics that wont let that happen. OSU, BAMA, Clemson, UGA are just on a different level. They get the elite of the elite type kids. It's a business decision for them, and rightfully so. Alot of people criticizing Cardale Jones when he said "I didn't come here to play school". Not saying those kids arent completing coursework. But the last 5-6 years has seen basically those football schools setting up online class networks for athletes that allow them to focus more on their passion of football. It's genius on their part, especially when snobbish schools like Michigan just scoff at things like this and still demand kids be in a chair on a cold ass November morning.

All my griping aside, no reason we cant be like Notre Dame and put together a playoff team every 4-5 years and compete regularly with OSU and occasionally win a game against them

Pretty much how I see it with the limited action I have seen.
