We running out of food at the camp. Got some fish but one a day ain’t gonna feed us. For the record it’s been a week since I shot and bloodied up one.

Movement was slow this evening with some deer coming out right before shooting time. Dj seen the skinny 7, Hb seen doe and fawn, I seen 4 does and 3 fawns. We gonna try again in the morning. Wind should be below 8mph and clear and cold....28 degrees.
Hb going w a friend and taking pearl to go shoot some mallards on a oxbow lake off the Mississippi River. I was invited but got a date w the deer.

Heavy frost this morning, 28 degrees and feels like 20. It’s a wet cold if you’ve never been down south that penetrates through your body. Let’s see what the morning brings, maybe Santa will send me something.

Damn... Out hunting on Xmas day... You guys are hard core.... But I gotta a mission today... Some guy put up a blind in one of my spots... 20 ft from one of my cameras... His truck showed up last week parked where I normally park... Never seen it before, where was he since Oct... So I'm going to pull camera.... IT BETTER BE THERE... I'm sure he viewed card...

Yeh.... Not really public gotta buy a permit... Gotta display decal on his window though and none is there... I know Casper is on that cam... Maybe he hunted there before as it's odd he showed up and carried a blind in... As long as he didn't fuck with my cam I'll be happy... Even if he did, I won't mess with his stuff... Guess I gotta put cams in lock boxes next year... 4 days left to get Casper and I guess I gotta get out of hunt mode and get into save mode before Casper gets shot....

Took a guest to hunt this morning. Dj passed on a smaller buck and had the wide 8 get buy him w no clear shot.
Hb had a decent 8pt at 40 and passed on him. I had the young ten on me. Told the guest we had 3 bucks we wanted to kill. Two 7’s and the wide 8. He shoots and said he killed the wide 8 and sends me the pic. It’s the one Hb passed [emoji2373].

Whose still hating on them deer? We are! Back in the stands, last night we only seen 5 does and a young 8. Truck said 27 degrees w a good frost and no wind. Hoping for another special morning. Maybe Hb can get him one. Just us 3 and Dj and Hb swapped stands. Hoping to send some ball pics. Thanks for following as it’s fun the share w the extended family here.

We back in. Hunter was the only one that hunted and seen two does. I camped, cleaned fish and baited lines. Dj had to go home and had to work today, wasn’t happy about it.
