Thanks for the apology. The way i read it seemed to be an insult...and I’ve never had a problem with anyone on this site. I figured it must not have been worded correctly but the more I read it, the angrier I got. No worries, it’s all good.
very poor choice of words that reads off. No insult was intended. It was intended to ask about your mother who she was and what she loved, and what good she brought to you and the people around her. I'm sorry for your mom passing......and again sorry for the off post

I didn't say vote Democrat. I said keep voting liberal. Sending things to people not in need, that didn't ask for it. Sounds very liberal to me.

actually that is just big government waste. politicians and bureaucrats from either side of the isle will waste as much as they can take from us. the Ohio BWC has sent me two bags of worthless cotton masks, 200 in total. one in April, one in December. my company has one employee, and that fucking asshole refuses to wear them. complete waste of money and cotton.

my faith in people was given a glimmer of hope earlier this week when I had to meet with two different customers last Thursday. the first was a couple in their early 60's for whom I've done several jobs. I had to go in the house and was prepared to honor their wishes, but when I went to the door and asked if she wanted me to put on a mask, she said not at all without hesitation, and I think these two are a little on the liberal side. Stop number two is for an elderly couple in their 80's for whom I've done several jobs. I went their to look at their new deck that was built last fall, so I did not need to go inside the house, but they wouldn't have any of it. insisted I come in out of the cold to discuss the stain work, and laughed at me when I offered to put on a mask for them.

I should add that I have decided that I'm not going to do any work for anyone who makes a big deal out of mask wearing while I'm working in or around their house. one of the best things about being self employed is that I can respectfully decline to do work for anyone I don't like, trust, or respect.

Yo Miller. Save that second bag of useless masks for me. They are much nicer than the first batch that was sent out. We use them at the shop. We deal with upwards of 200 individuals on a Friday night and I’m not one bit ashamed to admit we use them as there may be some benefit in slowing the spread.

will do. glad you said something, as I have not gotten around to putting them in the trash yet. I thought the first bag was nicer, well simpler. the new bag are pleated like surgical masks with straps that you have to tie. the first ones have ear loops and are just plain old cotton. I'm glad I don't have to deal with the public en masse.

My son just popped positive... just leg pain (similar to growing pains) and a low grade fever last night. Slight cough this morning but we had a hunch and had him tested.
