How do you like the Rowan’s Creek? I picked up a bottle a while back and wasn’t very impressed for the price. It tasted like a “finished” bourbon. Not that that’s bad, I just couldn’t quite get around to liking it. Your take on the Old Fashion sounds good!
Has anyone tried smoked ice in their bourbon? I haven't, but my son said it can take a glass to the next level for some brands.
This might sound bad but it was the last stop of the day on the bourbon tour i did and i was buzzing pretty good. I remember it was one of my two favorites from Willett. I think it has some unique flavors but nothing overly impressive. I have never seen it around Ohio so i picked it up for the variety. I honestly don't remember the price but it was cheaper than their pot still stuff in the fancy bottle that I thought was really overpriced and very unimpressive flavors.
A lot of people seem to go nuts over the willett brand similar to weller..... they are both overhyped in my book but i do have bottles available for if a friend stops by and really likes them.
It all depends on your flavor preferences.
Y’all’s palates are way too refined compared too mine, I buy a bottle, pour a glass of it over ice. If I like it, I pour another. If I don’t like it, I pour another.... I’m cheap like that.....
My palate is far from refined. I’d fugg up a blind taste test worse than Helen Keller

Pretty good beer for not being Busch light!
Not bad. Will report back when the remaining pack buddies are empty.
Finally got hip to the whiskey stone game. And I ordered some glasses. I need to lay off the beer for the sake of my heartburn and my waistline. 2 oz. of Woodford Reserve Double Oaked with 2 oz. Sprite Zero. Judge if you must, but it's good enough for me.
What’s to judge? Good whiskey and sprite is phenomenal
Throw em in the freezer and they keep your drink cold without watering it down

Blantons and Crown XO....this stuff is harder to find around here than turkey loads! Blantons is $75 a bottle...IF you can find it. Crown peach is everywhere.
Buddy sharing a bottle that his lady got him for his birthday. Starts strong but finishes with nothing but maple syrup. Like nothing I've had before.
