GREAT PODCAST!!! So relatable, and jammed pack full of information!! I thought I was good at laying out a habitat plan but the way @bowhunter1023 articulates his plan, in relation to terrain features and the neighborhood was freaking visual! I could visually conceptualize exactly what he was explaining and why he was doing each part of the plan. All around, fantastic!!

Getting caught up with all of the Habitat Podcast shows. Some I've listened to before and some are new to me. Outstanding way to look at it! I really enjoy the ones that are just hunting stories. Those suck me in. I've been known to get him and sit in the car to finish an episode.

I've really enjoyed all 5 of the episodes they've released and would have a hard time picking a favorite, but #3 is a great one for this crowd to start.

Started my yearly Nock On shooting school series. I find over the year, particularly in the offseason, I forget some very basic but important keys to consistent shot placement. This series is awesome for not only new archery enthusiasts, but even the seasoned ones. Dudley is a maniac at breaking down the shot process.

As someone born to be a businessman, I've always been fascinated with the late-80s and the peak of the cartels. The way those folks scaled businesses and mastered logistics, distribution, and marketing, albeit illegal, is still worthy of a Business 101 textbook. That said, this podcast captivated me.

If you haven't read it already, I highly recommend "A Piece of the Action: How the Middle Class Joined the Money Class" by Joe Nocera. Its a surprisingly interesting look at personal finances, investing, saving, and credit from the WW2 era Savers to the 1980s credit card addicts.

It tells the story of how people changed and were changed by new vehicles in personal finance...and it started with Bank of America dropping 60,000 fully functioning and funded credit cards on the people of Fresno California. People who never asked for those cards or the debt they would bring.

When I worked for Schwab in the 90s and early 2000s, the company bought everyone a copy of that book. I never thought I would find it interesting. I was wrong. I'll see if I can find my copy and bring it next week if you're interested.

I listened to this and am on the heavy arrow kick, starting last year. I know people like to make fun of the heavy arrow craze. But after watching the latest Elk video from The Hunting Public , where Aaron Warbritton got a complete frontal pass thru on his Elk, I'm sold. Ed Ashby has got some really informative stuff. Worth the listen!

I tend to be someone who is obsessed with trying to learn and stretch my mental capacity - often being disappointed in my lack of mental elasticity, yet here I am trying again lol!

recently - I’ve been super focused on the theory of relativity - the idea of space and time, how it bends, time dilation, and just in general Einsteins ability to visualize this and then mathematically prove it is beyond comprehension. However, I find myself enjoying the struggle to comprehend.

as they say “misery loves company” so if you also like to put your mind in a pretzel - these two podcats are enjoyable.
