My season 2021-2022

I’m going to open a new thread and start posting on here instead of blowing up a bunch of other threads. Posting updates of my plots/properties that I’m hunting and going to posting the few hitlist bucks that will be chasing this season as well. For those of you that don’t know I hunt guernsey county mostly and have about 800 acres of permission in a stretch right outside of town. I’ve added a few pictures of property and a couple of my number one hitlist buck. He seems to be mature, judging by mass, body and looks but hopefully I will continue to get pictures of him through the rest of august and September. I have yet to harvest a buck in ohio, as this is my second season hunting and last year was obtaining permission and logging over 115 miles of hiking/scouting while trying to kill a mature buck. It just didn’t work out… to kill a non typical buck that’s mature for my first buck would be extremely special to me! So follow along for the ride if you’d like. Any tips/tricks or suggestions are welcome! Thanks guys.

Thanks a lot guys! Really hoping to get after this buck. My son named him oak, said his bases are as thick as an oak tree lol! No idea what he’s going to finish at. I would say around 140ish. Measured his shed I found in June at 62 3/8 which would be his semi normal left side. He has definitely put on around 10-12 inches on that side this year from what I can see! So I would say that’s a safe bet for what he will score. Also looking at body and shed antler at base I would say he’s 4/5.

I figured you did. Nice place you got Dave, at least what little I saw when I stopped out there for the event. I definitely noticed the all the mature trees surrounding your place.
