Hello Adam,

I am not certain why you are stating I am a fraud, I can certainly tell you
I am not. I am a retired FMF Sailor that served in some of the same units
as Max Soviak. I have fought in Iraq and lost many friends, my son is a
current active duty Marine. This hits me hard. I am also an Ohio native,
and the knowledge that a Sailor from Ohio, my greater extended community,
was lost in combat is awful.

So let me tell you a few things. First this is not in any way a fraud. I
will personally never have access nor touch any money or proceeds from this
fund. The family, once contact has been made, will be set up as the sole
beneficiary of the funds to utilize as they deem necessary. Max should
have had a SGLI Insurance policy, which he purchased for his family going
forward, and the Navy will cover his immediate burial expenses. But there
are always more bills and expenses that need to be paid. Whether these are
for travel, getting relatives together, food, lodging, or any other need
they desire in this difficult time.

I do not know the family, but will be reaching out to them as soon as is
proper. Doing so on the day they were notified by the Navy does not seem a
proper action. If you truly know the family, or if they have an
intermediary they would prefer I talk to, please let me know. My desire,
as with many others, is to lift them up and care for them. Not to cause
them anxiety or stress. They have enough of this already.

So, you may ask why? Well, people care. I care. Individuals that never
knew Max feel a loss and are wanting to share their sorrow and grief.
There is very little many people can do, before the advent of such a thing
as social media, we may have been able to send flowers or a card. This
would have quickly been forgotten by the end of the funeral. Instead, we
hope to let the family know that a greater community, people that they
never knew, care about their son and brother. We hope to give some tiny
part of us, to show love for Max and his sacrifice. Hopefully, at the end
of the day, the memory of Max will be made stronger in both the family, but
also in the minds of people that while they never met him may have learned
more about Max and ultimately his sacrifice. As a member of the Navy
community, I see this as a duty to honor him and to serve the family.

I don't know what else to tell you, I welcome any reasonable dialogue. If
you truly are in communication with the family, please wish them well and
help me figure the best way to contact them so they can be setup as the
direct beneficiary.

Thank you,
Patrick

I don't want anyone to answer this really because I know the answer, but the question that I present, and let it rumble around in your mind for awhile;

Why is it so difficult for media personalities too admit that the American president that is currently in charge is actually the enemy of the state?

Too me, it's so obvious, and it should be that way to all those my age or older. That guy is total swamp creature that has lied his way throughout all his life to get to where he's at today. Never accomplished anything! He's an elitist that lies blatantly to the face of anyone and everyone with impunity. That's how he lives. A real scumbag in the truest form.

Again, I really don't care for anyone to answer. I guess I'm just expanding on my previous views of what I stated in my previous post.

Carry on!

There, feeling much better now by at least sharing just a small portion of my complete and utter dismay of the fuggin scumbag responsible, thanks!

I have no other real public outlet source just yet to do such things, but who knows, that may change in the near future.
