So, can someone explain to me why this is, I am assuming, more preferred than the free ones that I posted? What makes this app more special or different really?
I am a little bit familiar with Adam Hays.
He supposedly hunted some grounds not too far from me back about 10 years ago or better and got himself a big trophy buck, nearly 200". Supposedly, he leased the land at a premium cost for sole privileges'/access when he supposedly got word/heard about a local giant buck in the area back then.
That was kind of how the story was presented to me, again many years ago, and I am trying to recall correctly as well.
Anyways, wouldn't some agree here that these are the types of guys that are big time business type hunters that will sell basically their soul, along with this kind of stuff just so they can continue to afford to pay top dollar for land access just so they can regularly kill trophy bucks?
I would think by paying more than an average regular type hunter/hunters, whether they be locals or not, just so the Hays' can maintain both reputation status and potentially meet whatever industry quota to insure profits off the backs of other fellow hunters.
Now, I also have to say, I can't truly recall who exactly told that original story because it was such a long time ago, but I have a pretty good idea, and I can probably easily find out once again.
If I remember more of the story correctly, Adam Hays supposedly pissed off either the original land owner or the neighboring property owner at that time too, but I can't remember which exactly. It might have been my taxi guy at the time that told me, but I am not absolutely certain either.
Anyhow, not trying to start some shit. Just sharing an old story that was told to me many moons ago about him killing a giant in Ohio, not far from where I hunted regularly in Fairfield Co. at the time.
Plus, I just watched the video on the shared internet link that Jesse posted after mine. I just find it to be rather interesting as to what makes this particular app more special, or is it not, and would anyone say it's worth the money?
I'd appreciate anyone that would kindly respond with any kind of the pros and/or cons about that app, thanks!

Id say its about the same as what you posted but a little easier to understand it has weather on the app another section for stories of other hunters a spot to keep a journal. And you can get discounts on some products also but I haven't tried that. The story you told doesn't surprise me at all, it's all a cut throat sport anymore. But Adam kills some giants everywhere he goes.

It is. He also started a YouTube channel called Team 200. He most likely views this forum. He has killed several 200” class deer in the Columbus suburbs on very small parcels in neighborhoods and next to highways. Self filmed several, with low camera quality, similar to the D’Aquisto guy with lone wolf.
@Wildlife I’m sure he is deer greedy like a lot of others, but I’ve spoken with him several times and he is a decent guy on the surface. He is someone who has always wanted to make a living in the industry, and I think his moon guide is probably arbitrary and a self fulfilling prophecy. I’ll take note of the days shared here (thanks @bigten05) and may put an extra emphasis on the mysterious red moon days, but like most working hunters I hunt when I can and play the weather. I will say that deercast by the drurys seems to do a bunch of the math for you if you’re busy and dont want to review all of the weather variables one might consider.
IMO, there's enough guys that have missed more big deer than I'll ever kill, guys with walls full of great bucks that believe in it, that I at least give it its due attention. I'm not sure what all variables are included in the algorithm that leads to these red moon days, but when a guy like Ben Rising (one of the best big buck killers in the country) touts the benefits of hunting the red moon, I don't have the credentials to simply disregard his advice. That said, I hunt when I can hunt and don't believe this guide is "magic", but I do take it into consideration throughout the season, generally taking it at face value.

Like Cogz and Jesse said I hunt when I can... Moon phases, I don't pay much attention to, other than when there is a full moon... Let's see I have a $310.00 Illinois gun tag in my wallet... Should I check to see if the moon phase is favorable and if not just stay home... I don't think so... So I'll stick to playing the weather... Anytime there's a heavy frost in the morning where I have to scrape my windshield you'll find me in a tree... Do you think if there's a doe in heat and ready to breed that the local buck herd is going to consult their red moon guide to determine whether to chase her or not??? Yeh ok... So IMO it's a gimmick... But if it boosts your confidence, then pull out your wallet and go for it....
You wont find anything about it from from astronomers. Closest thing may be a blood mood which is a complete lunar eclipse.

I see it as more of a motivator. You have hunted hard and feel you need a break but the red moon starts a couple days later and you are torn between binge watching Netflix shows or what the hell.....go hunting because it says it should be good. All it takes is one encounter to make you believe in it wholeheartedly.
Appreciate the insight fellas! I'll just continue using what I shared cause it's absolutely free, and I throw that little bit of info in with everything else I take in account, such as weather, wind, time of year, so on and so forth.
I personally don't know the guy, again, I just recall a story that someone shared with me about a past hunt of his that was in the very near general area of where I used to hunt back in the day. I've taken some good bucks from the same general area as did he, but apparently his was better than any of mine.
