Went crabbing today…forgot to take pics but it was a bad day…only got 5 keepers. The state stocked some local lakes with some breeder trout today, the hatchery is in northern NJ so by the time they get down here, it’s late in the day…so me and a buddy are going fishing tomorrow morning to try and get a few of the big ones, then I plan on going crabbing at a different site either Thursday or Friday. I’ll remember to take pics!

They only stocked parts of northern NJ yesterday so I may go crabbing again today. I’ll have to check the NJDFGW website for confirmation on when they stock the lakes down here.

Did much better today….got 25 in about 2 1/2 hours.

They stocked a few lakes with leftover trout including some breeder fish. Had lines on the water at 5:30am. It’s 6:45 now and just getting light. Got a decent one already…full of eggs.
