Walking back into my furthest stand trying to kill a doe tonight. Almost got trampled by this buck about 100yds from the stand.

Doe & a dinky 6pt just came in. Nothing else happening.

Hell of a hunt and Old Faithful didn't disappoint. Saw 6 total. 2 bucks and 4 does, and I'm now certain that the one "buck" we saw last night is indeed an antlered doe. She cam in first with two yearlings in tow and they tried to nurse her multiple times. She even stood there grooming them for a long time while the other doe kept to herself. Eventually, this little guy came barreling in grunting, snort wheezing, and dogging the lone doe all around me. She was actually standing at the base of my tree smelling the limb I cut and the wad of chaw when he nudged her off. He went 360 around my tree inside 8 steps and I had multiple deer inside 5 yards. He's a good looking deer, but he's best left for my girls. I'm half tempted go back there in the morning, but the goal is to kill one at the farm, so I'll be there in the AM and I'll keep tonight's stand for the hunts where I'm "confined" at home.

A bit slow. Just two different bucks than this mornin. None of which I'm lookin for, however this guy played the script that I'm hoping for of a much bigger one.

Then a Great Horn Owl that landed right in front of me, huntin the same field.

No deer were harmed this evening but, you can bet that I'll be back in the same tree come tomorrow. Lookin forward to it.

Ended up seeing 1 buck. Guessing time was around 430? Dunno phone died. Couldn’t tell how many points it came running funny thing is tho where it ran nothing had came through…

Other than that them fuggin turkeys were ridiculous ..After an hour of them making all kinds of noise all within 50 yards of me back and forth . I got up and started throwing walnuts at them with some choice words.

Shit ya not 25 minutes they were back in front of me. Some were laying down others standing there ..

They left. Then they came back agin it ridiculous I don’t know how many there were but there was a shit ton. I mean shit ton…

They didn’t give two shits about me either. Got a little cold tho not going to lie end of evening.

Let the 5th buck in two sits go tonight. Its starting to heat up in my spot. Biggest was a 3yr old 8pt. I heard a buck fight up the hollow too. Heading back in the morning before I work the next two nights. Only have one borderline shooter on cam so far but won't know till I see him in person.

Just saw a doe and her two lil ones tonight inside 25 yards but that’s it.

Ron had a much better night than me that’s fer sur! Hopefully we’ll have sumptin great to start off your day in the morning. GL tomorrow TOOville! We’ll hopefully be busy.

Oh, he ran his arrow through his #1 target buck named Babe tonight. Feels pretty good about the shot but if he’s dead now he’ll be dead in the morning as they say.
