Might have been different if Bama didn't piss them off at the end of the season. They are taking it out on the Wolverines.

I did see Bama beat Cincinnati. Yawn. Nobody surprised by that one.

I still don’t like the structure of the playoffs. It would be more interesting with more teams and more chances of the BIG upset occurring. But I still think the SEC will dominate lol

That's what regular season is for. The playoffs should not be a random number generator to achieve entertaining results. The goal is to determine the best team in the nation and crown a champion, not roll the dice until we get random results. If that's the goal then change the term from champions to luckiest. The best way to make the top 4 is not suck in the 12-13 games before that. The #5 and up teams have nobody to blame but themselves for not being here tonight, they need to accept their bowl game fate and try to suck less next year.

Yards after first contact. Jesus. Ga is running through tackles like Michigan is a high school team. Supposedly M is 12th in total defense in the nation. Where is that D line?

Michigan spent all their heart and soul beating Ohio State. In that game, the Buckeyes played with no heart and just sort of went thru the motions. Today it is the opposite. Georgia is playing with all the heart and Michigan is going thru the motions. Georgia has something to play for: Redemption.

I'll offer credit where due: they started the season unranked and they made it to the playoffs. I guess their energy and heart ran out just getting here.

Similar story to the Buckeyes in most years. I'm not sure what it is about the playoffs. It isn't easy with the gap between regular season and playoffs. Hardly an excuse though because their opponents have the same gap. Maybe there is something mental and the coaching leading up to playoffs? Whatever it is, Bama has that figured out.

One things for sure that Michigan Qb is leaving it all on the field. He's taken some runs to make it happen and paid for it by getting popped numerous times.

Not being shitty here, but maybe the best the big 10 has to offer just isnt the same caliber. Middle of the pack is middle of the pack teams like the ones that make all the smaller bowl games, those are pretty evenly yoked due to rankings. But in the playoffs there is an obvious difference between good teams, and great teams. The difference between good and great was pretty obvious tonight with Cincinnati and again with Michigan. We also see it with teams like Notre Dame when they make it. It's not just the Big 10. What may look like a great team during season gets exposed as being only a good team on a national scale. The SEC can't claim ownership of that despite the longevity of Bama as Clemson had that for years too. Good teams play entertaining and good games like OSU vs Michigan, but when they have to play a great team like Ga it gets exposed. For what it's worth, I don't see Alabama as being a great team this year, Ga on the other hand. Wow. Disciplined, great on both sides of the ball, execution, drive. It's all there.
