It is pretty cool to think that the trees these beams came from could be older than the USA. The beams are about 100+ years old and I am sure the trees were at least that old of not older.

one thing for sure they are hard as crap and takes quite a bit of time to rip each board.

Got all the beams ripped down, except a short one, it takes about 10 minutes to make each cut on a 12 foot beam.

Got all the rough cut wood and trim up, have to change the lights, install the toilet and wine barrel vanity.

Thanks man, I was a little nervous about the roughness of it and the boards not being the same thickness, but I love it and the saw marks.

Got the pantry done, wood white washed, shelves installed, and old store screen door with bread logo and push bar installed.

Guest bath is pretty much done, have to change out the light fixtures, find an old metal grate for the exhaust fan, put up a hand towel rack

Got the old Appleton cage lights up, made a grate for the exhaust fan, until I can find an old one, put up the hand towel rack.

Most of the pavers are down, now cutting on the edges

Also door building time, 2 done only 18 to go

This stone will make a boarder all the way around and hide the wood, also using it for the steps

Brick saw to cut them or do you score them and break them? I'm guessing you have to cut or they'd break into jagged edges?

Using a dry diamond blade in the skill saw, the concrete pavers and the natural stone cut really easy.

Great additions, the medicine cabinet is incredible already....add in the history with it and you have a winner.

Dang Clay, great update since I last checked in! Loving the choice of pavers you’re laying down.
