My stupid pet peeves.

"At the end of the call, please stay on the line for a brief survey..."

If they ever give you the option ahead of you actually getting to the point of your call, to take a brief survey at the end of your call, then always select yes!
At the end of your call simply hang up. We have found that we get through to someone a lot faster when we say yes to the survey. However we never stay on the line for the survey at the end of the call. Try it some time to get through quicker!

You have to reheat your house every time you shit and shower? I don't think the fan is the problem😂

The average fan moves about 350 cubic feet per minute of air. 30 minutes should remove about 3,500 cubic feet of air from the house. Since the air has to come from somewhere it comes from the outdoors through small drafts. If we condensed all that to one room for a house with 8 foot ceilings, thats the equivalent of completely reheating a 21x21 room from outside ambient temp to the set indoor temp. You just don't notice it so much because its spread out over the whole house and isn't localised to one room.

I'll spare you the thermal calculations. But to reheat that room if the indoor and outdoor temp is 50 degrees apart takes about 6,520 watts. Or 6.52 kilowatts. For an electric furnace at 15 KWH it costs roughly 65 cents for that 30 minutes of fan running. Now run 2 of them for hours upon hours because kids don't turn them off and at the end of the month it adds up.

It's a good thing my family heats with light bulbs.

Sitting here at the lake watching America's got talent. The name of the show is quite deceiving. At least half the damn contestants on the show are from foreign countries. WTH. Stupid and annoying.

When Amazon sets my package at the wrong house with the damn wrong address in the picture!!!!

the gps takes them to the wrong place but damn look at the address on the package, then look at the address where you are leaving it.

we have been living here for about 9 months and this has happened at least 10 times.
