How many you find so far? Are you having a normal year or is it up or down?
I’m not quite to my average # yet of 16. The most I’ve found was 26 and least was 10. I’m sure I could do better if I had more access but it’s tough to gain it in my area. Farmers are pretty nice and likely will let you but there’s a lot of properties bought by rich city people that only let the farmer and his hands to plant and harvest on their land and no one else.
I’m currently at #13
I have 24 so far. My usual is 35-40 so I’m down but I have found at least one side to most of the bucks I really wanted to find. Yeah never really quit shed hunting but don’t put in the time that I usually do.

Does a person actually stop looking? Seems to be part of my life at this point. Always looking.
That’s how I am with arrowheads even though I haven’t actually intentionally gone looking in a couple years.
I’m at 4 sheds but haven’t put a lot of effort into it so far. We still have at least 7 with both sides.
Tyler has picked up one on us and several while surveying.

Took a walk on a cousins property after work today scouting for some turkey hunting and looking for sheds along the way. Stumbled upon a nice matched set laying together. #2 and 3 for me this year.

Gained permission to a "no hunting" property next to one of my properties. It is off limits and around 60 acres. Zilch. Covered it pretty well. Probably go back and walk a couple areas again. Funny how you only find 2 tree stands on properties which don't allow hunting. 😠

And post season too.
I don't think these are the type of hunters who pull stands. Ethics isn't a great priority. The one is so close to buildings I would have to believe they are allowing it. Maybe the maintenance guy or something? The other? Well, I've pulled stands off property we hunt where they crossed the fence and walked 30 yards to the tree they hung it in. Then said they didn't realize it was across the line. Don't think they are shed hunters though. And. . . I still haven't found one yet. 😠

Cool pics Ric. I've received pics of 3 or 4 different bucks on two different cameras in the last several days. Makes me feel a little better about not finding any sheds yet.
