I’m up in a “quick” stand which is about 70 yards from a house, really wanted to see what was going on in the field and if the corn was still standing

Seen 5 came in to about 30 yards right at dark, one was limping really bad, tried to put it out of its misery but couldn’t see my pins, so no shot

Beautiful day…wow. Couple doe in the AM…too far. 2 doe in the PM…walked 6 feet in front of my blind….way too small.

Nothing. Nada, nary, nil. Zip, zero, zilch. Big ol' goose egg. I work the next 4 days and then off for rut-cation. Except for 2 night shifts (November 6th and 16th} I'm off until December 2nd.

I’m up in this mid 70s miserable October fuggin day, give me 38, a light rain and with a 10mph wind!
We're in. Wind put us in the stand.... but better'n not hunting.

My son and I are out tonight, about 80 yards apart. The weather isn’t ideal but you can’t control that. You can only control if you hunt or not. With limited time out so far this year (mixing in bird hunting too) we decided to go for it. Hopefully he gets to kill one tonight. If not, at least the squirrels are entertaining.

I'm catching a slight wiff of buck pee on occasion when the winds swirls just right. Beautiful evening. Leaves are changing and falling. Set up for close quarters if I see anything so I'm really hoping to see something. Good luck to everyone out tonight.

I believe we saw a little chasing going on right before dark. Could not make out the buck but the doe ran back-and-forth from something...
