Every true Buckeye fan wants it as bad as you do!!! Tough to beat a team 3 times!!! Better yet let Ryan Days future be determined on this rematch!!!
College football, I love it. Guarantees!!! Their are NONE!!!!!
Go Bucks!
I love this idea because I really think it'll be the end of Day and some others. Only Chance we have is to show up for 8 quarters in a row. I don't see that happening under this leadership.

We have found ourselves in this position with the playoffs multiple times now. I fear this is our last chance to prove we are worth it. As a college football fan, I believe Bama would've been better at fighting. That couch seems to find ways.

You guys have a stellar coach and recruitment program.

I believe if I cared to dig far enough. You once said that no team with a lose should ever be considered for the playoffs. The 2 loses you guys took were really tough games that came down to the final minutes of play. In a game of Alabama vs OSU, who do you think would win? Second part of that question is going to be about the 2 lose team having a shot. Lol

Losses are all relative and should be based on the strength of the conference. There is a huge problem with weak conferences that have one relatively decent team going either undefeated or one loss making the playoffs. That is why teams like OSU look fantastic throughout a season but have a history of getting flat embarrassed in the playoffs. It's easy to look smart when you're surrounded by idiots. That's why a marginal woman goes to a bar with all their fat friends.

Something I've had a longstanding problem with is conference championship games causing jeopardy to teams. If a #3 or #4 team loses their conf championship game they shouldn't be knocked out in favor of a team that didn't even play in their championship game and sat at home on the couch. Alabama shouldn't be in the playoffs, and OSU shouldn't be in the playoffs. TCU took a loss in their con game and stayed in. USC took a loss in their conf game and should not have been bumped out.

I've never been a fan of this human opinion playoff system. I think it should be based on game stats and weighted by strength of the opponent and once the regular season is over take the top two for the title game. Remove all this voting BS that is purely about entertainment and not about proving who was the best. Just like the BCS did.

Still impossible unless everyone played the same schedule
I’d like to see every team in every power conference play one team in other conferences during the first four weeks of the non conference schedule to establish who the top tier teams and conferences are then the entire season would be more like a playoff bracket then the bowl games would have more validity as would the playoff games. How’s that for a long winded sentence?!?! Longest one I’ve ever typed I believe!😆😂

Nah it's not. assign points for offensive and defensive plays and stats. First downs, yards per play, interceptions, sacks, rushing yards and the list could go on for as long as there are things to score. Then weigh it by the opposing team. Let's say a sack is worth 100 points. A very simplistic weight would be it's worth 1x against an unranked team, 2x for ranks 25-15, 3x 15-5, 4x for teams ranked 1-5... Sack a top 5 team QB and it's worth 400 points, sack an unrranked teams QB and it's only worth 100. Depending on performance a loss to a top 5 ranked team could potentially get you more points than beating up on some unranked team and winning by 40 points.

Or remove rankings altogether and do it purely by points. If an opponent has 10,000 season total points, and you have 5,000, then your point multiplayer is 2. Their multiplayer is just 1 because they're playing a team who is only half as good as them. At the end of the regular season add it all up and take the top 2 for a title game. Bam. A season long playoff system based on performance and completely removes human bias.

If points are assigned based on opponent’s ranking, then how is ranking assigned? If by points, then this a a circular argument.

And if rankings are removed all together, then teams with cake schedules would be in the playoffs every year. Which would be a Bama fan’s wet dream come true!

I didn't say rankings were assigned based on points. Rankings could continue to be assigned the same as they are now except total points earned would determine the top two teams to play in the championship.

The other way would be to remove rankings and make it purely about points as I mentioned in my second paragraph. Teams with cupcake schedules would have a steep hill to climb to gain enough points, and there is a huge incentive to play team's better than you. You could theoretically lose a game against a tough opponent and still get more points than if you went and beat up some cupcake that weekend. It heavily incentivizes playing quality football teams and olaying well.

Big 10 plays 9 Conference games. SEC plays 8 plus teams like Austin Peay in week 11. Talking heads usually forget to mention that
