I started hunting there on Thanksgiving Day 1981. Back then you had nonstop deer action. 6-8-10 deer would come by at a time. During rifle you would scope them all, then start over if they were still in sight. Eventually you might find spikes on one. Anything more than 4 points we called a non-typical. I quit hunting there from 2000-2006 because I was tired of killing spikes and kids activities. Now you have a legitimate chance at 120s and possibly bigger in our neck of the woods. But there can be some painfully slow days.
